Also, if the two Head Coaches of a Cape Clinic game PRIOR TO GAME TIME want to cancel or reschedule their game for any reason, they may do so. HOWEVER, both Coaches MUST contact each family on their rosters IMMEDIATELY to confirm that the game has been changed and that children should not show up at the original scheduled time. Senior Clinic or Intramural Coaches who agree to cancel or reschedule their game must also notify either the Senior Clinic Commissioner or Head Commissioner so that the Referee may be notified of the cancellation in advance.
CAPE CLINIC SPECIAL RAIN-OUT RULE #1 FOR COACHES:
IF A CLINIC COACH IS UNABLE TO REACH EVEN A SINGLE PLAYER BEFOREHAND TO CONFIRM THAT A GAME HAS BEEN CHANGED, THEN THE COACH ABSOLUTELY--WITHOUT QUESTION--MUST GO TO THE CAPE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL FIELDS PRIOR TO THE GAME'S ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED START TIME AND WAIT FOR ANY POSSIBLE PLAYERS WHO MAY SHOW UP.
CAPE CLINIC SPECIAL RAIN-OUT RULE #2 FOR COACHES:
IF IT IS REALLY, REALLY RAINING HARD AND IT'S REALLY MUDDY AND COLD AND IT JUST SEEMS IMPOSSIBLE TO IMAGINE THAT ANY SANE INDIVIDUAL WOULD ACTUALLY SHOW UP FOR A SOCCER GAME IN TODAY'S MISERABLE WEATHER, THEN PLEASE SEE RULE #1 ABOVE!
